🪵 杖術 概要
杖術とは、日本の古武道に伝わる武技で、長さ約128cmの「杖（じょう）」を用いる武術です。
杖は刀より長く、槍より短いため「振れば刀、突かば槍、払えば薙刀、持たば太刀」と言われ、状況に応じて多様な使い方ができる万能の武器とされます。
攻撃だけでなく、防御・制圧・相手を傷つけずに制する技も多く、「殺さずして勝つ」精神を重視するのが特徴です。
代表的な流派は「神道夢想流杖術」で、江戸時代から警察術や現代武道にも影響を与えています。
