I describe the story behind my nickname 'Zonne-straal' in this song. Someone once gave me this nickname because of my positive attitude towards life.
Due to a connective tissue disorder, I am in a wheelchair.
Being creative and making songs are an outlet for me and keep me positive and optimistic.

Rolling through the streets,
I see the sky so wide.
Wheels beneath me spinning,
dreams I cannot hide.
Sunshine whispers softly,
lighting up my way.
Every step I take
turns shadows into day.

they call me glowing from within.
Finding light in darkness,
letting joy begin.
Life’s a melody.
I hum it loud and clear.
Even on the hardest days,
I keep it near.

Life may place its stones
upon the road.
But I dance through
with my own secret code.
Creative hands
and music in my soul.
Every day I find another way
to feel whole.

Challenges don’t break me.
they just shape my song.
Notes of courage rising,
carry me along.
Rain may fall.
But still I find a spark to shine.
In my world of motion,
every turn’s divine.
