A little context for this song for those who care and have been following the story of April.
First, these are older lyrics. They're quite a bit more shallow than most of what I write nowadays. However, I think they fit the genre pretty well.
It's also a prequel to April's last album "ENEMY", right before turning dark, gritty and depressed. She tried to hold on, but eventually gave up on society, on others, on herself, on life, and eventually took her own.
She wrote this song after losing her soulmate and anchor. He's the "HERO" / "name" she was waiting for that never came to help and instead watched her "FALL" with a grin on his face.
