ABOUT THE SONG /GENRES:

> Imagery & themes:
Both doom metal & progressive psytrance mix philosophy with impending reality. I wrote to repeating thoughts that are emotionally weighted-down, some as quasi mantras and reflections. The vocal delivery was important for me that it'd progress between these elements: from melodic to half-spoken, and at times even whispered. The vocal tone itself goes from that trance/house space to the darker metal essence.

> Rhythm & groove:
Incorporating all of the prompt elements was a curious challenge of taming their distinctive bpm's, and their separate rhythm sections, to convey it all into one continuous loop, with moments to pause, switch, yet still keep that stream of consciousness feel intact.

> Energy & texture:
I wanted this song to drag out your own thoughts, without feeling like it dragged on. It was a fun challenge to be had! We open with lo-fi crackle that blends into psy-trance that introduces the guitar that then offers you a moment of that very cool house bounce. The rest? Well, hear for yourself...
