Глава четвёртая.

Я слышал птиц, что летают в небесах!

Их голос шепчет мне, что прошлого не вернуть.

Я видел как сгорают надежды в огнях.

Её плач подхватывает ветер и разбивает о скалы.

Ветер срывает лист и кружит его в своём танце.

Он кружится возле меня, нежно касаясь моего лица.

Как лист продолжает свой одинокий путь,

Так и я продолжу свой, без любимого Ратибора.

Ночь опускается на лагерь, погружая в сон.

Тихий треск костра, и угасающий огонь.

Гаснет пламя, а вслед за ним и гаснет день.

Вокруг меня кружится одинокая тень.

Луна прячется за чёрными облаками

Печально смотрит вниз на меня.

Вижу на белоснежном диске его лицо.

Холодное, безразличное и одинокое.

Смотрю за границу лагеря, вижу Любаву.

Нервничает, в сомнениях, боится подойти

Знаю о сделке в роще, не успел её предотвратить.
