Out in the scrub, I’m crackin’ open a cold tinny,
Windin’ up the ute, guess I’m headin’ to town.
My tracks are dusty, but my grin ain’t skinny,
Wallabies hop by, I ain’t puttin’ ’em down.

I toss a snag on the barbie, watch the smoke swirl,
Another day in the outback, cravin’ that brew.
Singin’ “Fair dinkum!” to every bloke and sheila girl,
Them wallabies bound past like they own the view.

We’re the loud, the proud, the sunburnt crew,
Sippin’ stubbies, singin’ for the free.
Footy and thongs in the blazing hue,
Wallaby mates keep us company.

Thongs slappin’ dirt while I shout out a cheer,
Cockatoos squawkin’ high above my dome.
Gotta keep it bogan—my pride’s crystal clear,
With wallabies and stubbies, I’m right at home.

Mullet flappin’ in the breeze, no need to be shy,
My esky’s loaded up, let the good times roll.
On a dusty footy field, watchin’ roo pies fly,
Wallabies sneak a nibble, keep me on patrol.
