Every wrong brings a consequence
justice demands recompense
when toll comes through, payment is due
only the greater price is paid - of two

We all pay for what we construe
deliverance is nothing new
redemption breaking through
liberation offered to you
atonement forging us, once askew

Christ paid the final price for our disdain
consequence still echoes in what remain
where the divine is put askew
correction is still expected of you

What is owed is not optional—it comes due
it is the cost of what we construe
only when we turn from sin are hearts restored
and the death penalty earned ignored

We all pay for what we construe
restoration coming due
deliverance is nothing new
We were lost—but not undone
the only requirement is we overcome
redemption breaking through
liberation calls to you
atonement reforming us, anew
