Between Stations

A late-night radio track drifting into a dark, sleepless room. Very minimal instrumentation: electric piano, upright bass, a strange and slightly detuned synth, and male vocal only. No drums. No guitar. Tempo is slow, around 60 BPM. The electric piano plays sparse, cold chords. The upright bass moves slowly, almost like breathing. The synth appears rarely, unstable and unsettling, like a malfunctioning signal. Male vocal is low, fragile, almost whispered — more spoken than sung. Keep breaths, hesitations, and silence. Add subtle radio noise and room ambience. No climax, no hook. The song should feel distant, intimate, and quietly disturbing — like overhearing a broadcast not meant for you.
