Narasimha is one of the divine incarnations of Śrī Kṛṣṇa — the Man-Lion who appeared to destroy evil and restore righteousness.
He liberated the world from the tyranny of Hiraṇyakaśipu and lovingly protected the young devotee Prahlāda Mahārāja — the embodiment of unshakable faith and devotion.
