i believed in happily ever afters
but you only get a glimpse of the storyline-
all fairy tales really end in disasters

cinderella's prince was the opposite of charming
i don't know how anyone finds that story sweet
telling girls they don't fit the mold is straight up harming
and obviously he was only in it for- the- feet!

Beauty and the beast showed unhealthy power roles
he had anger problems and was too possessive
isolation and control were his true goals
no relationship should be that aggressive

Sleeping beauty, come on- it's not that deep
she wasn't distressed, just not feeling her best
kissing an unconscious lady makes you a creep
get some consent or you're- under- arrest!

Ariel!... you don't have to change who you are-
don't give up your voice just to be with a man!
you can do anything, you're a shooting star
if anybody disagrees, who gives a damn?
