Lyrics
Verse
red and brown
orange and yellow rain down
scattered too the wind
as it comes again...
season shift
seasons changing...
Summer dies...
as Fall springs...
the beginning of death...
slowly turning
the dyings not forever
life will live again...
just as our love
will rise...
gotta believe in...
Autumn's promise
acoustic guitar instrumental
chorus
just as the leaves, wither and fall
I leave them to you
my heart and soul
through Autumn and winter
our feelings turn cold...
re-born in the spring...
strong and warm
it's us forever...
no matter what comes
together we face...
every storm
acoustic guitar and cello instrumental
Verse
breeze blows cold
cuts to the bone
I'll embrace you
keep you warm...
I'm your sanctuary
your my home
even when we're angry...
at each other's throats
we always come back...
forgive and forget
as autumn falls
and the colors change...
the long dark winter
howling our names...
I trust in us
I trust in the cycle
I trust in love
to be born anew
trust in...
Autumn's promise
mid tempo acoustic guitar strumming
chorus
just as the leaves, wither and fall
I leave them to you
my heart and soul
through Autumn and winter
our feelings turn cold...
re-born in the spring...
strong and warm
it's us forever...
no matter what comes
together we face...
every storm
acoustic guitar instrumental
bridge
oooooooo
Spring blooms...
Summer grows...
Autumn falls...
Winter consumes...
through every season
I hold onto you...
we see it through...
it's Autumn's promise...
all things will be renewed
cello solo
outro
just as the leaves, wither and fall
I leave them to you
my heart and soul
through Autumn and winter
our feelings turn cold...
re-born in the spring...
strong and warm
it's us forever...
no matter what comes
together we face...
every storm...
ohhhhh ohhh ohh
trust in...
autumn's promise...
acoustic guitar and cello solo
