Every step I take,

there's no room for mistakes,

But, every chance I get,

I always find a way to make it worse.

In the quiet, I hide from view,

Where echoes dance in shades of blue,

A distant voice that calls my name,

But I turn away, afraid it's true.

These shadows crawl where light won't reach,

A secret buried, out of sight,

I close my eyes, refuse to see,

The truth that's lurking in the night.
