苦しみの中で

魂は裂けた

光は遠く

暗闇が覆い

祈りは届かず

その手は閉ざされ

In the midst of suffering

My soul was torn apart

The light is distant

Darkness has covered me

My prayers go unheard

And His hand is closed

(He has driven me away and made me walk in darkness rather than light;)

壁に閉じ込められて

鎖に繋がれて

声はかき消され

苦しみ続ける

Imprisoned behind walls

Bound in chains

My voice is erased

I continue to suffer

(...indeed, he has turned his hand against me again and again, all day long.)

ただひとしずくの

光を求めて

道は曲がり

足元は重く

耳を塞がれ

闇が深まる

Just a single drop

Of light I seek

The path twists

My steps grow heavy

My ears are shut

And the darkness deepens

(He has made my skin and my flesh grow old and has broken my bones.)

壁に閉じ込められて

鎖に繋がれて

声はかき消され

苦しみ続ける

Imprisoned behind walls

Bound in chains

My voice is erased

I continue to suffer

(He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.)

He has made me dwell in darkness like those long dead.

He has walled me in so I cannot escape;

he has weighed me down with chains.

Even when I call out or cry for help, he shuts out my prayer.
