So now my mind has frayed, and my heart lays splayed, while all the pretty colours I saw have greyed.

I remember how it felt to fall, head first into a vice like maw. I was clutching at a single straw, while I searched for the door. I've felt my consciousness shatter into pieces, to not be able to iron out the creases, or escape the warmth of your carefully constructed fleeces.
