Notes: The song is about a man who unexpectedly receives the gift of five fortune cookies from a mysterious but cheerful woman dressed as a bee. He spontaneously decides to follow the instructions in each cookie. This takes him on all kinds of odd adventures - which ultimately lead him to the woman of his dreams. The woman dressed as a bee is still out there distributing magical cookies and stinging the unsuspecting – with love.

Cookie #1 – “Take a different path.”
He takes a completely different route to go home and discovers a new shop he’s never seen before.

Cookie #2 – “Give a gift to a stranger.”
He buys a book of poems and gives it to the shopkeeper at the new shop. He has actually picked her favorite poet.

Cookie #3 – “Dance in the park, at night.”
He goes to the park, but the note said nothing about a flashlight. Dancing in the dark, he falls into a pond. A woman he doesn’t know passes by and gives him her flashlight.

Cookie #4 – “Leave a note on a tree.”
He thinks it’s a weird request, but he writes a poem on a note and sticks it to a tree. The next day, his poem is gone but someone has left a reply that says they loved the poem and want to know who wrote it.

Cookie #5 – “Throw a penny into the sea, kid.”
He takes three trains to travel to the sea. Two women went there to celebrate a birthday. The first one is the woman who gave him the flashlight – and her sister is the shopkeeper. He saved the last cookie as a memento. But when the shopkeeper finds a pretty seashell and wants to take it home, he offers her the note from the park to wrap her seashell in. She sees the note (her reply) and realizes that – he must be the one who wrote the poem.
