Meow… tonight’s the final stand,

Tomorrow I’ll be gone, no more home land.

No more soft laps, no more catnip dreams,

I’m chasing stars in the moonlit streams.

I leave behind my scratching post,

That feather toy I loved the most.

Humans sleeping, they’ll never know,

Their little cat’s got somewhere to go.

I’m a free cat now, can’t tie me down,

Gotta roam these streets, gotta prowl this town.

No more canned food, no more warm bed,

Just the open road and the stars ahead.

I’ll miss the jingle of my bell,

The treats that made my life so swell.

But the wild’s calling, I’ve got to be brave,

To chase the dreams that I long to save.
