more as a joke because he was a big, strong guy, but really more like a sweet bear.

He was strong yet kind-hearted

If you were walking on the side of the road

my Dad would stop and give you a ride

(he did that so many times when I was growing up)

or check on you if your car was on the side of the road

He taught me to care, to love, to give to others
