From the hidden corners of the globe to the secret corridors of power, this is your direct line to the truth: "The Daily Dossier: A Super-Watch Report!" We have a new dispatch for you today, and believe me, you'll want to hear every word.
Sound Effect: A faint, high-pitched "whoosh" sound, followed by a distant, comical "SPLAT!"
[Radio Announcer] Our lead story today comes from beyond the stars, a place many of us know as the Superhero Lookout Planet! The council there, in a private communique to our office, has expressed... significant frustration. It seems that while they are well-placed to spot cosmic threats, their logistical situation has become a bit... dire.
Music: Becomes mysterious with a shimmering violin and a tense, high-pitched theremin.
[Radio Announcer] As you may know, the Planet's primary function is to serve as a launchpad for our caped crusaders. But our sources report the main teleportation machine, "The Warp-inator 3000," seems to have had a moment of cosmic wanderlust and teleported itself to the other side of the galaxy.
Sound Effect: A quick, echoing, almost confused "BWOOOOP!" sound.
[Radio Announcer] This, of course, has had a rather tragic effect on hero response times. A simple bank robbery now takes a day or two to get to. But the bigger concern, according to the council, is the number of non-flying heroes who, lacking a proper exit portal, have been attempting to launch themselves from the planet's orbit with... predictable results. The council's report notes that the number of un-graceful plummetings has reached an all-time high, and they've already run out of extra-large bandages.
Music: A comedic trombone slide, followed by a slightly bewildered-sounding woodwind section.
