Sinterklaas in town again

Bringing joy without an end

Mystery fills the nighttime sky

Can you see him coming now?

Sinterklaas kapoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn schoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn laarsje,

Dank je sinterklaasje!

Smell of cookies spice the air

Gifts and laughter everywhere

Children's wishes take their flight

Heads are filled with dreams tonight

Sinterklaas kapoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn schoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn laarsje,

Dank je sinterklaasje!

Tiny footsteps down the hall

Whispering and that's not all

Carrots for the horse we bring

Hear the children now sing

Sinterklaas kapoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn schoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn laarsje,

Dank je sinterklaasje!

Candy sweets for every child

Faces beaming with a smile

Magic floats in every home

Sinterklaas you've surely roamed

Sinterklaas kapoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn schoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn laarsje,

Dank je sinterklaasje!

Sinterklaas oh won't you see

I’ve been good as good can be

Fill my shoes with candy sweet

Make this holiday complete

Sinterklaas kapoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn schoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn laarsje,

Dank je sinterklaasje!

Sinterklaas kapoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn schoentje,

Gooi wat in mijn laarsje,

Dank je sinterklaasje!

Sinterklaas, oh rock the night,

Bringing joy and pure delight!

Sinterklaas, hear the call,

Come together, one and all!

Sinterklaas, we'll sing it loud,

Joyful hearts, we’re feeling proud!
