- At first, I planned a poetic take on the elegance of wabi-sabi — something slow and philosophical.
But honestly…It felt sleepy.
- So I flipped it played with the phrase “Wabi-sabi, not wasabi” — then built the story from there.
- Since I went pun-heavy, I leaned into it even more in Verse 2 — full of wordplay, sarcasm, and English-Japanese rhythm clashes.
- Traditional Japanese instruments made their way in too.And somehow, it all started feeling like a modern Geisha — not serving tea, but serving truth.
