DjentaWeen 2025 Mix (ReMi) Eng track #15-1
The djent track opens with massive, distorted guitars and intricate polyrhythmic drums, underpinned by eerie theremin, ghostly bouzouki, and warped synth layers. Neo-classical shred solos carve through the mix, while raspy and ethereal vocals, plus sudden yodel bursts, echo above thunderous taiko drums.

haunting taiko drum fill intro
Verse
Lately
My skull has been heavy
As I wait for the sun to go down
And I've been watching horror movies all day long
Is it Halloween already?
No
But it doesn't matter
It was only a matter of time
It's always Halloween in my mind
Chorus
Djent-a-ween
Come and take me away
Djent-a-ween
Won't you take me away
Djent-a-ween
Come and take me away
Djent-a-ween
Won't you take me away
Verse 2
Yeah
My heart is pounding in my chest
I might have to call it an early night
I won't rest till I see the sunrise
But now I'm just waiting to see what happens next
Ain't nothing like a good old-fashioned panic attack
It was only a matter of time
It's always Halloween in my mind
Chorus
Djent-a-ween
Come and take me away
Djent-a-ween
Won't you take me away
Djent-a-ween
Come and take me away
Djent-a-ween
Won't you take me away
