I close my eyes

to picture myself

in a green paradise.

Hot steam fills my lungs,

sweat pearls on my skin.

A faint scent of decay,

the fragrance of becoming and passing away.

In the air a whirring, a buzzing,

birds, insects, and so much more,

monkey cries piercing shrill,

from the distance to my core.

2. Savanna

Golden grass, dancing heat.

The earth breathes in amber light.

Dust and horizon.

3. Desert

Silence carved in stone.

The sun is a golden weight.

Thirst for the infinite.

4. Mediterranean

Luz de plata sobre el mar.

Amber leaves, soft rain.

The rhythm of the seasons.

Home in the whispering wood.
