Exploding Head Syndrome (EHS) is a real but bizarre phenomenonâjust as you're about to sleep or wake up, your brain fires neurons in a way that can create an explosive sound no one else hears, jolting you awake. With recent UFO sightings and increasing reports of strange dream-state encounters, more people than ever have experienced this. And with the world changing and stuff like "https://thetelepathytapes.com/" (great podcast!) coming out where harvard professors prove the existence of telepathy between non speakers (autism children) and their parents.
I had my own unsettling experience, which left a lasting impressionâso I turned it into a song. Whether dream or reality, sharing it might help others find validation.

Intro
White noise on the radio
Frequencies between stations
Whispers from another plane
Slipping through when consciousness wanes
Slipping through when consciousness wanes
"Listen..."
Verse 1
Five AM in a state between worlds, caught in the liminal space
Unfamiliar architecture around me, in this strange displaced place
Thousand points of light ascending skyward, white and red dots in flight
Not fireworks, not planes, not satellites â something's not right
Two orbs hover outside my window, watching, calculating, waiting
With that off-center crimson glow, reality's slowly fading
The space between them starts to bend, physics breaking down
As a low frequency vibration makes its presence known around
The air grows thick, time slows down, something's standing by my bed
A distortion in the fabric, and then it gets inside my head
Pre-Chorus
Then I feel it, right behind me
Turn to face what I can't see
Stick-like shadow by the bed
And through my mind, the message spread
Chorus
Silent cry for "Help" tears through my mind
As reality and dreams intertwine
The darkness pulls me under, thenâ
BOOM!
My skull explodes from within
Like a supernova in my brain
The veil between worlds grows thin
In that space where nightmares reign
Verse 2
Vibrations running through my cranium, aftermath of the encounter
Currents flowing down my spine, left my perception altered
Drew the figure before sleep, tried to process what I'd seen
Inadvertently summoning it back into my dreams
Parasomnia or portal to another dimension?
Medical journals classify it, provide clinical definition
Exploding Head Syndrome they call it, but labels don't explain
Why these entities appear in this twilight domain
Not quite dreaming, not quite here, caught between frequencies
In that no man's land where they operate with disturbing ease
That telepathic call for help, was it warning or a trap?
A trick to open doorways that should never be unwrapped?
Pre-Chorus
Then I feel it, rising tension
Awareness stretched to new dimension
The pressure builds inside my skull
As the frequency starts to pull
Chorus
Silent cry for "Help" tears through my mind
As reality and dreams intertwine
The darkness pulls me under, thenâ
BOOM!
My skull explodes from within
Like a supernova in my brain
The veil between worlds grows thin
In that space where nightmares reign
Bridge
Paranormal or syndrome? (syndrome...)
Astral planes or neurons misfiring? (misfiring...)
The mind plays tricks, or so they say (they say...)
But what if something found its way? (found its way...)
From somewhere else, through cracks in time (in time...)
Where different laws of physics climb (physics climb...)
That space between sleep and awake (awake...)
Where reality starts to break (to break...)
Outro
What if these experiences aren't just misfiring circuits?
What if our consciousness operates across surfaces?
What if these entities exist in parallel dimensions
And they're reaching out desperately seeking intervention?
Or what if they're psychic parasites feeding on fear?
Slipping through when our defenses momentarily clear
Either way, once you've seen behind the curtain, you know
There's more to existence than the material show
