I woke up late and missed the bus to town

So I grabbed a pogo stick to bounce around

Stopped at the diner for a slice of pie

Then rode a shopping cart down Fifth and High

The cart hit a curb and I flipped right out

Borrowed a tricycle from a kid with a pout

I pedaled so fast

I could barely steer

Swerved into a parade float shaped like a deer

I’ve been everywhere

On wheels and wings

Through chaos and mayhem

The strangest things

Planes

Trains

Balloons

Even a yak

But I swear I’m here now

So cut me some slack

The float broke down near the edge of town

I hitched a ride with a guy in a gown

He was driving a tractor full of hay

We sang show tunes all the way

Then a hot air balloon just floated by

I grabbed the rope and I said goodbye

Landed in a field with a farmer’s goat

And surfed down a river on a giant boat

I’ve been everywhere
