- I came across a Thai song with truly beautiful lyrics and melody, and a clear, pure vocal tone. I wanted to try covering it by taking the storyline of the original and then expanding it into a deeper narrative about love.
- It’s quite a challenging song because Thai uses short words with few syllables, whereas Japanese tends to use more syllables. This means I have to control the vocal phrasing to match the original as closely as possible — which ends up consuming quite a lot of credits.
