🌙 Yumemi – ポプラの恋 -Poplar no Yume- 🌙

Intro 🌬️

Chorus 1 💔

Bridge 🕊️

Final Chorus 🌠

Outro 🍃

Style details1980s Japanese city pop × dream pop, slow tempo with hidden momentum, like a rainy night drive where time feels suspended yet moving fast. Warm Fender Rhodes chords form the foundation, melodic fretless bass weaves counterlines, and LinnDrum groove anchors with deep kick, crisp snare, closed hi-hats like raindrops, and occasional tom fills that break into silence before resuming. Clean electric guitar with chorus shimmer adds soft rhythms, while expressive slide guitar solo cries during the instrumental bridge. Lush Juno-60 pads expand the mix, alternating between sparse intimate moments and widescreen climaxes. Arrangement breathes with sudden pauses, cymbal washes, wind FX, and reverb tails, creating magical echo-spaces. Layered ethereal backing vocals drift around the lead, sometimes in unison, sometimes ghostly call-and-response. The atmosphere is nostalgic, melancholic, and cinematic — a bittersweet dream suspended in rain and memory.
