In a world torn apart by conflict between mages and demon hunters, Elyon, a young mage, and Kaela, a fiery demon hunter, find themselves on opposite sides of a dangerous ritual. Elyon seeks to summon a celestial being to bring an end to the endless war, but Kaela, burdened by mistrust and the scars of her past, stands against him. Their confrontation in the ruins of an ancient temple brings back memories of their forbidden bond, forged in secret during a fragile truce.
As Elyon activates the ritual, a celestial being of light appears—not a demon, but a figure that reveals a forgotten truth about their world. The entity shows them a vision of a harmonious future that could have been, had their people chosen peace instead of hatred.
When they are thrust back into their reality, Kaela lowers her weapon, and they both vow to find a new way to end the cycle of violence. However, as they depart, an ominous rift appears in the sky, hinting that their actions may have awakened a far greater threat.
