Lyrics

Small personal note:
My mom was (and still is) writing poems.
This is one of them. Not quite the original because I needed to adjust it a bit.
She was moved when I asked her if I can turned her works into a song.
I was moved that she was moved.

Verse
Są ludzie
z którymi świt jest lżejszy
A dzień
budzi się
bez lęku i trwóg
Z nimi świat staje się piękniejszy....
Gdy staną oni gdzie jest twój próg....
Rozmowa płynie – czysta, prawdziwa,
Prosto z wnętrza.
bez zbędnych słów
Nawet gdy smutek słońce zakrywa,
Przy nich to szczęście powraca znów
I choć dłonie drżą ze zmęczenia,
A brak tchu i snu odbierał sił
i nawet w zmęczeniu –
Nadzieją i ciepłem naznacza skroń
end

TRANSLATION
=============================================================
There are people
…with whom the dawn feels lighter…
And the day
wakes up
without fear or dread…
With them the world becomes more beautiful…
When they stand there at your door…
The conversation flows — clear, true,
Straight from the inside,
without needless words.
Even when sorrow hides the sun,
With them the happiness returns again.
And though hands may shake from weariness,
And the lack of breath and sleep has drained our strength…
Remember — hearts
that are truly loved
will wrap around you —
without needless words…
For those who cry after losing someone,
For those who fight just to live each day,
For the lonely,
and for the quiet ones,
And for those who guard what their dreams hide…
For in every gesture, in every honest glance,
When someone offers a helping hand,
A light is born —
and even in exhaustion,
It marks your brow with hope and warmth.
