Smoke and mirrors lead the way,

Vanishing grin, a fleeting trace,

Turns the dark into a face,

Lurking whispers, soft and sly,

Questions hung where shadows lie,

Reality bends, distort,

Magic’s tongue in crooked court,

Every step, a twist, a maze,

Lost inside the smoky haze,

Silent chuckles, secrets held,

In the realm the cat compels,

Slip between the here and gone,

Cheshire's smile lingers on.
