Lyrics
Orchestral Intro
Verse 1
I rose from ink spilled by the crows,
In gardens cursed where nothing grows.
A crown of salt, a veil of pain,
They carved my worth into the rain.
Chorus
Through fractured stone I carve my name,
No echo pure, no holy flame.
They knelt in fear where silence fed,
I bloomed in soil the martyrs bled.
Blast Section
Verse 2
I traced the dusk inside my skin,
A map of scars from things within.
The choir choked upon its creed,
But I still rise where ghosts recede.
Breakdown
The dark remembers better than the light.
Chorus
Through fractured stone I carve my name,
No echo pure, no holy flame.
They knelt in fear where silence fed,
I bloomed in soil the martyrs bled.
Bridge
I was the veil they dared not lift,
The curse beneath their sacred gift.
Final Chorus
Where shadows claimed their last defence,
I wrote my truth with consequence.
No savior comes for ash and bone,
I wear the dark, and stand alone.
Outro
I became the end they feared.
