Intro – banjo fingerpicking with metallic gear clicks, faint steam hiss, swamp ambience (frogs croaking, water dripping)
Verse 1 – banjo twang leads, swampy bass line, light hi-hat ticks, faint distorted guitar swells in background
Banjo sings in the mud, and the gears all grind,
Rust on my boots, but the gold I’ll find,
Smoke in the water, lanterns burn slow,
Steamship shadows where the river winds go.
Chorus – full band: distorted guitars, banjo riffing, brass stabs, stomping drum groove with metallic clangs
