They found me far out where no one really looked

I was just a small point doing what I always do

Then they placed me out there with the rest in a row

They said I belonged, so I went with the flow

I never stopped to ask if it felt right or not

I just kept moving forward on the path that I got

Then one day everything around me changed

I stayed the same but they said something different

I didn’t move away and I didn’t disappear

But suddenly it felt like I was easier to miss

It takes me so long just to circle around

While everything closer keeps rushing past

But I keep my pace and I don’t pretend

I’ve been the same from the start to the end

You keep deciding what belongs where

But I’m still here doing what I do
