Scorched skin won't stand the cold for long

Nor will an open rib cage

Will and purpose extend only as far as power goes

And power came from servitude

Shards of dream frozen in your soul

Blades of hopes plunged and stabbing your trust

You ran only to feel your feet crumble

And again you cry for help

Look high at the heavens

You came from there for sure

None of these memories may help

As only the care of earthling can redeem you

Would you accept such disgrace,

Or slow with the cold in a lethal descent ?

Shards of dream...

Stabbing your trust...

Abandon your body...

And cry...
