Title: Bonds of the Heart

Hebrew Verse 1:

הַקְשָׁרוּת שֶׁנִפְרַמִּים בְּרֶגַע

פַּעַם לֹא נִתְפַּרְקוּ בְּכָזֹאת קַלּוּת

חֲבֵרוּת עֲמוּקָה כְּבָר לֹא קַיָּמָה

זֶה מַעֲמִיק וּמַכְאִיב לְנַפְשֵׁנוּ.

English Verse 1:

Friendships now unravel in an instant,

What once was strong now fades away.

Deep connections no longer lasting,

Leaving hearts in dismay.

Hebrew Verse 2:

פַּעַם נָחָה עַל כָּל פְּגִיעָה

יָד שֶׁהָיְתָה מַרְפֵּאת אֶת הַכֹּל

הַיּוֹם מִשְׁתַּנֶּה וּמְחַלִּיף מַהֵר

לִבּוֹת נִשְׁבָּרִים כְּאִלּוּ הָיְתָה זוֹ מַעַשָּׂה קַלָּה.

English Verse 2:

Once a tear was met with healing hands,

Today it’s replaced, as if no worth.

Quick to discard, quick to abandon,

Leaving souls lost in a world of dearth.

Hebrew Verse 3:

אַךְ נֶפֶשׁ הָיְדִיד אֵינָהּ לְחוֹפָה

כְּמוֹ בֶּגֶד שֶׁנִּשְׁמַט מִן הַכִּיס

צָרִיךְ לְטַפֵּל בָּרַגְשָׁה וּבְיֵרְאָה

בְּעָמְקוּת שֶׁל חִיוּת שֶׁאֵין לָהּ תַּחֲלִיף.

English Verse 3:

But a friend’s soul is not a garment,

Not something that can be tossed away.

Handle it with care, with deep reverence,

For some things cannot be replaced in a day.

Hebrew Verse 4:

דָּבָר עָמֹק צָרִיךְ לְשָׁמֹר וְלָטִּפַּח

לֹא לִבְרֹחַ אֶל חֲלוֹף מִנֶּגֶד

כָּל פְּגִיעָה הִיא הִזְדַּמְּנוּת לְתִקּוּן

לֹא לְחַסֵּל כָּל רֶגַע לְנֶצַח.

English Verse 4:

Nurture the deep, protect it with care,

Don’t run away, don’t let it slip.

Each wound is a chance for redemption,

Not a moment to let it forever rip.
