The sky turned yellow, I stayed grey

Watched my coffee fade away

T.V. on mute, thoughts in reverse

Clock don’t tick, just hums and hurts

Pulled back the blinds just to check

If today was worth the wait

The sun came up today

But it had nothing good to say

So I guess it’s time for bed

Let the pillow clear my head

I’m not sad, I’m just on low
