Easy, steady, nothing much to see.

My job was doing fine, I was okay,

Life was calm, just pleasing me.

My nerves weren't jumping, felt alright.

Stars at night? They stayed up high,

Just a smooth, long, silent sigh.

The love, it shook with quite a boom,

My nerves vibrated, then stood still,

Happiness showed, light in the room,

Knocked with a feather, up on the window sill.

My sandcastle, comfy inside,

Felt kinda small, starting to slip,

The cloudy sky replaced the pride

That came along with having a pain to grip.

But said that building joy when others weep,

But that would just bring other pain,
