A prisoner of distance, condemned to endless space.

The dome of dying embers bestows him no relief.

He's watching beauty from afar ... the Earth in tender glow;

All his soul has hungered for, yet none he’ll ever know.

I burn, and feel the pain.

What purpose keeps me breathing, when no one hears my plea?

What does forever mean, if none can answer me?

Why grant the Earth my radiance, yet chain me to this night?

Why curse me with this longing, for warmth forever out of sight?

This poor forsaken soul, the loneliest of all ...

His is caged forever, in silence tightly bound.

The moon became a lesson, a warning carved in stone:
