Concept: Letting go
Theme: “ぷちぷち” has become a symbol of letting go of burdens — like popping bubble wrap one bead at a time. Each “ぷちぷち” is a release of sighs, fears, old wounds, and tears.Little by little, the heart grows lighter, ready to take the next step toward tomorrow.
- Remixing this song seemed easy at first, but ended up burning through 300+ hundreds of credits, ahhh!
- I wanted it to be R&B, but the original song was fast, so I kept tweaking this and that — adding a rap section, changing the chorus — back and forth until I’d basically rewritten the whole thing (lol).
- The dumbest obstacle was that the track turned out great, but the rap section had way too much male vocal, so I had to write a prompt to control it.
- Another hurdle was the genre — I went from Lo-fi → Japanese pop → Japanese techno, but nope, that didn’t work at all. In the end, I calmed down, looked carefully at the lyrics, and thought, “Yeah… just go with slow Neo-Soul R&B like I originally planned” (lol).
- Finally, I ended up with two versions to choose from, both really good — so I went with the one that had the better rap.
