I keep your echoes in my palms,

swallowed in a silent prayer.

In my darkened room,

you undress in the moon,

made of smoke, made of sighs,

I kiss you through my mind.

In the hollow hum of night,

I’m falling, falling blind,

lost in the fever of a dream,

where you and I collide.

Your cruelty paints my sky,

but my hands draw you in soft lines,

a forbidden silhouette,

whispering in my trembling bed.

I hold you where you’ll never go,

inside the silent stereo,

I break, I ache, I fake,

to feel your breath again.
