Lyrics
Verse 1: Male, breathy & low
Dawn came without warning
Your shadow slipped away
Silence filled the morning
No words left to say
Verse 2: Female, dreamy soulful
I walked the empty coastline
Wrote my pain in sand
Waves took every line
Still don’t understand
Chorus: Both, call & response
I’ve felt the storm, I’ve touched the flame
I’ve known the sun through sheets of rain
Through broken nights and endless pain
I still believe I’ll breathe your name again
Verse 3: Female lead, Male soft harmony
Body tired, spirit bending
Time is running low
Sky above is sending
Strength I need to go
Chorus: Both, rising energy
I’ve felt the storm, I’ve touched the flame
I’ve known the sun through sheets of rain
Through broken nights and endless pain
I still believe I’ll breathe your name again
Final Chorus: Both + layered group vocals, almost spoken-prayer feel
Carry me through the fire
Lift me above the rain
One more day, one more hour
Till I feel whole again
