نَفس کے ہَنگاموں میں گُم ہو کے رَہا
نَہ دِل کا سُکوں مِلا، نَہ دِل بِیدار ہُوا
سَجدے بھی رَسَم بَنیں، اَشک بھی کھوکھلے
نَہ شَوقِ طَلَب باقی، نَہ دِل سَرشَار ہُوا
ڈھونڈا تھا جِس کو کہیں راہوں میں
وُہ اپنے ہی باطِن میں مَگَر آشکار ہُوا
جَب تَرکِ اَنآَ کِیا تو کُھلا رازِ ہَستی
نَہ میں رَہا باقی، نَہ وُہ یَار ہُوا
خُودی مِٹ گئی جَب تو نَظَر آئی حَقِیقَت
تَب جا کے سَمَجھ آیا کہ رَب سے پیار ہُوا
اُلجھے ہیں کارِ جَہاں میں اَیسے اِفریؔ
