He made us live on a compound

Wore white robes and led us in prayer

In exchange for our souls and our money

He promised us Heaven right here

He made us all drink his Kool-Aid

And watched as we writhed on the floor

He had just enough time to see

Our heads hit the ground before he went too

He told us that he was our savior

But I guess that now that is untrue

I believed it with my whole heart

But I guess that I was a fool

The Bible says thou shall not kill

And if that is the case

Well

I didn't

But He broke the seventh commandment

When he went and made us do it to ourselves

And my mama told me when I was young

That I'd go to hell for offing myself

But what if you didn't have a choice?

I hope Heaven's better than here

He told us to kneel at his altar

As he blessed us and sang us a hymn

But it wasn't until after he slaughtered us

That I realized that Heaven was him
