大槻美香（おおつきみか）は17歳の女子高生だ。クリスマスイブ――12/24にクラスメートで友人の浮谷悦子（うきやえつこ）と待ち合わせした。すると、悦子がいきなりコケた。照れる悦子。通りかかった仕事帰りのおじさんは、スマホを落としてしまった。悦子が「プレゼントちょうだーい」とおどけているとき、雪が降ってきた。すごい！ ホワイト・クリスマスだ……！ サンタのおじさんは3人、店の前で呼び込みをしていた。美香は色々なことが起こるなあ、と驚きながらも幸せな気持ちになっていた。
美香たちは友達の恵梨香の家でクリスマス会を行った。クラスメート5名でバカ騒ぎ。美香のあこがれの男子、陽介もいる。ケーキを食べたり、フライドチキンを食べたりして、大満足の一日だった。
しかし、次の日も――クリスマスイブだった。「何が起こっているの？」悦子から電話がかかってきたあと、美香は駅前に急いだ。悦子がコケて、おじさんがスマホを落とした。子どもがサイダーを一気飲み……昨日とまったく同じ光景！ そしてただ一つ違うのは、サンタのおじさんが2人に減っていたことだった。
クリスマスイブがループしているのは明白だった。美香はこのループから脱出できるのだろうか？

Christmas Loop: A Story
Mika Otsuki is a 17-year-old high school girl. On Christmas Eve—December 24—she meets up with her classmate and friend, Etsuko Ukiya. Suddenly, Etsuko trips and falls. Embarrassed, she laughs it off. A man passing by on his way home from work drops his smartphone. As Etsuko jokes, “Gimme a present!”, snow begins to fall. Amazing—a white Christmas! Three men dressed as Santa Claus are calling out to customers in front of a shop. So many things are happening, Mika thinks in surprise, yet she feels happy.
Later, Mika and her friends hold a Christmas party at their friend Erika’s house. Five classmates fool around together. Yosuke, the boy Mika has a crush on, is there too. They eat cake, enjoy fried chicken, and spend a completely satisfying day.
However, the next day is—Christmas Eve again. “What’s going on?” After receiving a phone call from Etsuko, Mika rushes to the area in front of the station. Etsuko trips and falls, a man drops his smartphone, and a child chugs down a soda… It’s exactly the same scene as yesterday! The only difference is that the number of Santa men has decreased from three to two.
It is clear that Christmas Eve is looping. Will Mika be able to escape from this loop?
