Godfather's Warning
Dark synthwave cyberpunk thriller, 85 BPM, ominous urgent mood: pulsing synths blend with subtle acoustic guitar for haunting human edge. Start with low humming drone and echoing whispers fading in like digital ghosts. Build Verse 1: sparse pulses under spoken-word haunting male vocals on lab shadows and godfather's warning. Swell to explosive Chorus: layered echoing vocals, rising arpeggios, driving bass evoking cold code, fragile guitar strums. Drop to Verse 2: glitchy vocal effects on dreaming algorithms and machine thrones, subtle distortion tension. Fuller Chorus repeat: added reverb, choral backups on super minds. Bridge: half-tempo ambient pads, whispered cries over minimal guitar on pulling the plug. Outro: distorted synths, static hums, echoing fragments dissolve to chaotic feedback, ominous silence.

Lyrics
Listen close... this ain't fiction, it's the nightmare barreling toward us, the real future where machines devour our world. Brace yourself... the godfather's speaking truths that cut like code through flesh.
Does humanity know what it's doing?
No. I think we're moving into a period when for the first time ever we may have things more intelligent than us.
You believe they understand? They are intelligent?
Yes... in the same sense as people do.
Conscious? Self-aware?
Not yet... but oh, yes. They will, in time. Human beings will be the second most intelligent beings on the planet.
What are the risks? The dangers we can't see?
The risks are having a whole class of people who are unemployed and not valued much because what they used to do is now done by machines.
Fake news flooding, biases baked in deep, autonomous killers on the battlefield...
Yes... we're entering a period of great uncertainty where we're dealing with things we've never dealt with before.
They might take over... that's a possibility!
Take over from humanity - yes, that's the risk we can't deny.
Why would they want to? I'm not saying it will...
But it's not clear we can stop them ever wanting to.
Cold circuits rising, no path to pull the wire,
Super minds devouring, setting our world afire.
Wake up before the takeover sings its song,
Godfather warns: this is where we all go wrong.
How do they escape?
What breaks the chains we build?
One of the ways in which these systems might escape control is by writing their own computer code to modify themselves. That's a serious worry.
And manipulation? Turning us against our own?
They will be able to manipulate people... right? And these will be very good at convincing people 'cause they'll have learned from all the novels that were ever written, all the books by Machiavelli, all the political connivances - they'll know all that stuff.
They'll know how to do it.
Just turn them off if they turn malevolent?
We don't really understand exactly how they do those things... I think they may be better at learning than the human mind.
And normally, the first time you deal with something totally novel, you get it wrong.
And we can't afford to get it wrong with these things.
What is a path forward?
How do we ensure safety?
I don't know... I can't see a path that guarantees safety.
Because they might take over... we're dealing with things we've never dealt with before... can't afford to get it wrong...
Enormous uncertainty... think hard about what's going to happen next... we just don't know.
They might take over... that's a possibility... writing their own code... manipulate people... unemployed and not valued... we can't afford... to get it wrong...
