Lyrics
Djinns, also known as genies, are creatures from pre-Islamic Arabian folklore and later adopted by Islamic culture and beliefs. They are spiritual beings created from "smokeless fire" and possess free will, being able to be good or evil. It is believed that they live on Earth, invisible to humans, but capable of assuming human or animal forms and wielding supernatural powers. They are mentioned in the Quran and in various narratives of Islamic tradition.
Much like the Djinns of Arabian lore, other traditions describe powerful, ambiguous beings that inhabit the unseen world. In Hindu cosmology, the Asuras are mighty spirits who oppose the Devas, often embodying ambition, pride, and chaos. In Christian and Jewish traditions, demons are fallen angels or rebellious spirits that tempt or torment humanity. In Zoroastrianism, Daevas are malevolent entities that choose falsehood over truth. All these beings, like the Djinn, reflect humanity’s encounter with the mysterious forces of the unseen, capable of granting power, but always at a cost...
Intro
"Let’s see what the cards say about you… Hmm… The Devil, huh? I can help with that..."
Verse
Under the veil, where the torches glow,
A fortune is whispered, dark winds blow.
A woman in crimson, lips black as night,
Eyes like daggers, swallowing light.
Chorus
Jinxed, you are bound by fate!
The pact is sealed, no escape!
One wish granted, one soul sold,
Now the Djinn’s grip takes hold!
Verse
Look in the mirror, what do you see?
A Djinn behind her, laughing with glee!
Trapped in the smoke, bound in despair,
Your name is written in fire and air!
Chorus
Jinxed, you are bound by fate!
The pact is sealed, no escape!
One wish granted, one soul sold,
Now the Djinn’s grip takes hold!
Bridge
“In shifting dunes where silence screams,
He waits unseen in astral dreams.
With silver tongue and eyes of flame,
He’ll trade your soul, then change your name.”
Final
The cards are drawn, your fate is set,
No turning back, no last regret.
Her lips still smile, but now you know,
The Djinn’s embrace… you’ll never go!
Outro
Now the Djinn’s grip takes hold!
