today is my day off,

but my body won’t commit.

i know i should rest

but resting feels like work,

to all the things i gotta do first.

and yeah, tomorrow’s waiting,

knocking on my door,

and i’m already tired,

even more than before.

so i sit here, staring at the ceiling,

lofi in the back, matching what i’m feeling.

wanna disappear, but only for a minute,

life keeps running even when i’m not in it.

i’m baking in here,

india-level heat on my skin,

sitting on my couch

like a couch potato again.

the fan’s on high

but it barely moves the air,

i’m scrolling through the same three apps

like something new would be there.

time feels melted,

like i’m stuck between frames,

the world’s outside working hard

and i’m just here,

doing nothing again.
