It wasn't always like this, you weren't just a fraud

Morals, ideals, honor, loyalty and love
Mean nothing to you now, cause you think you're above-
It all, why would you need them, you have all these pearls
Still, they are just a part of your Glass World

Easily broken, easily shattered, easily seen through
Everyone knows what you really do
You are hiding yourself behind a wall of glass
Did you seriously think it all would last?

Is that crown heavy now? Does it weigh you down?
All your diamonds, all your gold, do they make a sound?
Or is it just your own voice bouncing off hollow walls?
You built it up high, but now watch as it falls!

One sharp crack and down it swirls!
All your kingdom, all your throne
Can’t protect you when you're alone

What does it mean to be at the top
When the bottom’s already been cut off?
Around your neck, the noose has curled
So say your last words to your Glass World
