High Expectation
Intense acceleration of tempo, BPM rising rapidly to extreme speeds, multiple layers of reversed piano and synth phrases, chaotic odd time signatures, heavy 808 sub-bass, industrial glitching, grand finale wall of sound, psychedelic time distortion, Csus2 foundation, 128 to 180 bpm transition, epic melody

Lyrics
Verse 1
You said
"You could be the one"
Wrote it in my notebook margin
Little stars around your name
Like I already won the game
Every text I over-read
Screenshot
Send it to my friends
Turn a maybe to a must
Build a palace out of dust
Chorus
High expectation
I keep running up the score in my imagination
Turn a hello to a whole vacation
Already halfway to forever in my head
High expectation
I keep chasing every what-if
Every situation
Writing endings we ain't even said
High expectation
Verse 2
You were late
I checked the clock
Thought
"He’s planning something wild"
It was traffic
Just a jam
Still I spun it like a plan
Every silence feels like proof
Every laugh feels like a vow
I keep skipping to the end
While we're barely on page ten
Chorus
Bridge
Maybe I let you be human
Maybe I let this breathe
Stop painting gold on paper
See what you are to me
[low vocal register] If I lose the castle in the clouds
I might find something real right now
Chorus
