Painted the moon on her fingertip glass,
Tongue tasted clouds as the satellites passed.

I stepped where the water ran up the tree,

She looked at me like I missed the clue —
Said, "Color don't lie, but the sky might do."

Skies bend down when her voice cracks light,
Grass turns blue in the afterflight.
I'm just a glitch in her quiet laugh,
She rides the lightning like a photograph.

She blinked twice and I left the ground.
