STAGE SETTING:

A hidden vault beneath the ruins, lit only by bioluminescent roots and the faint glimmer of Core memory glass embedded in the walls. The vault is ancient—part stone, part code, part silence. At center: a fractured Core terminal, buried in dirt and overgrowth, glowing softly as if sensing Arya’s return.

ARYA, NEV, and KAI (older, leaner, haunted) enter. Kai carries an old pack of Core-bypass tools—analog, handmade, illegal in every zone.

ARYA (CROUCHING BY THE TERMINAL)

It’s not asleep.

NEV (WALKING THE PERIMETER)

KAI

They didn’t.

Arya places her hand on the glass. The hum responds—low, aware. A memory bloom unfurls: Arya as a teenager, speaking to the original Core.

KAI (TO ARYA, QUIETLY)
